Summer Reading at Parish Public Library



The Parish Library is pleased to announce the slate of special events for the 2017 Summer Reading Program.  Reading is an important part of everybody's summer vacation--its how we learn to make a better world. Sign up for the summer reading program begins Wednesday, July 5th.

Wednesday, July 12 at 2:00 pm  Local musician Jim McCarthy

Wednesday, July 19 at 2:00 pm Thompson Park Zoo

Wednesday, July 26th at 2:00 pm "Buzzing Around"  with Cornell Cooperative Extension

Wednesday, August 2nd at 2pm Building Day--an afternoon with STEM challenges

Wednesday, August 9th at 11am Channel 9 meterologist Jim DiPasquale

Wednesday, August 16th at 2 pm: Games Day

All programs take palce at Parish Volunteer Fire Dept, 16 Union Street

All programs and free and open to ALL, even if you do not sign up for the summer reading program.

Before or after the program, be sure to visit the library to browse our great collection of books, pick up your reading tickets and enter the prize drawings. The more you read, the more programs you attend and the more you visit the library, the more chances you have to win one of our great prizes!
