The Parish Public Library is happy to announce that SUMMER READING 2020 will begin on Monday, July 13th! There will be ways to earn tickets for prizes! Stay tuned for more news!

HOLIDAY CLOSING

Lots of new books at the Parish Library! We will be closed July 3rd and July 4th for the holiday weekend so stock up on books.

GRAB AND GO!

Take advantage of grab and go! Call us, email us, or place your hold on the website! We will retrieve your books and call you when its time to pick them up! If you usually like to browse, call us and tell what kind of books you like. We will choose up to 5 books for you. Our delivery has resumed so you can request books from other libraries in the North Country Library System. At this time the Library is only open for this pre-arranged pick up.

LIBRARY UPDATES

The Parish Library will continue to be closed until further notice, however, there is still lots of reading to be done. There is lots of information on the NCLS website, (https://catalog.ncls.org) that will keep you entertained for quite a while. Download the Libby app and use the ebooks! Lots of Library are doing on-line story times. Look for the Virtual branch on the website. Click it on to see what is happening at all the virtual libraries.

BOARD MEETING

The Board of Trustees will meet via telecommunications on Monday, March 23 at 6:00 pm. The minutes will be posted shortly after.

In order to ensure the health and safety of our staff and patrons, Parish Public Library will be closed until further notice.

BUT--we are committed to continuing to provide reading material to our community. We're working out the plans now, and will have more information to you as soon as possible about how you will be able to continue checking out books.

SPEND YOUR DAY OFF FROM SCHOOL MAKING A BUTTON!

Come on down to the Parish Library to make an instant button with the handy button making machine. People of all ages are invited to the Library on Monday, March 16 from Noon until 4:00 pm to make their own button. To make a button you to bring is a picture of your choice printed on regular copy paper or you could draw a picture. The finished button will be about 2 inches, so the picture you bring should be slightly larger.
