STORY TIME

The Parish Public Library will be offering Monday Morning Story Time beginning on September 17th at 11:30 a.m. The program is open to preschool age and school-age children. As well as a story, there will be a craft or an activity. It’s a great opportunity to introduce children to the fun of reading!

This event is free and open to all kids. Children must have a parent or guardian in attendance.

SNOWBELTERS CHORUS RETURNS!

Join us at the Parish Public Library for a fun and song filled evening. The Oswego Valley Snowbelters Chorus will be returning to the Parish Library on August 20 at 6:30 pm. Bring your lawn chair. Come and enjoy the barbershop harmony! The event is free and open to the public. In the event of inclement weather the concert will be held at the Village Gym.

SUMMER READING PROGRAM!

Every Hero Has a Story! Let’s read them!

Parish Public Library is pleased to announce an exciting, expanded Summer Reading Program. All children (preschool through high school) are invited to participate. They can earn tickets for tracking their reading this summer (6/15-9/2), and can enter drawings for terrific prizes, including a Kindle!

The library will also host a special program each Wednesday throughout the summer. We will welcome the Watertown Science Museum on Wednesday, July 8th to kick off our summer, and will close out the celebration of learning with the Thompson Park Zoo coming on Wednesday, August 26th.  Participating students earn additional prize tickets for attending programs.
