Parish Writers Group

Its Springtime and that means the Parish Writers Group will resume. Beginning, Tuesday, April 26 the group will meet at the Library for the next 5 consecutive Tuesday at 6:00 pm. Adults are invited to come and join, learn and share their writings. Its great for a skilled writers, an aspiring author or just someone who wants to jot some things down.

 Origami is the Japanese art of folding paper into paper sculptures. Mary Brunet, a member of the Friends of the Parish Library will present this fun evening of art. This event will be open to all ages, young and old and anywhere in between and it is intended for beginners. However, if you are experienced in this art, come along and show the group. The paper will be provided and the event is free!  Refreshments will be served. Come along for some fun!

Local Author Reseaching Oswego County Search and Rescue Team

Local author, Jim Farfagila will be hosting a talk on the organization and establishment of the Oswego County Search and Rescue Team. In July 1971, a Baldwinsville child went missing from the families' Adirondack Camp. Sadly the case remains one of the area's most troubling unsolved case. Out the tragedy came, however, was born the esteemed organization, The Oswego County Pioneer Search and Rescue Team.
